A love of nature and wild places is one of the things that create a strong bond between us. We feel a deep sense of appreciation for being able to spend time in nature. We both have a background in native plants and enjoy having conversations about the nature we encounter when we’re out hiking, whether it’s lichen growing on a rock, a magnificent geological landscape or a coyote whose path we cross. We love the wild, wildlife, wilderness and the beauty and mysteries of nature. And we are, quite literally, tree huggers.
